2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am one and done picks, expert PGA predictions, betting advice from proven DFS pro

The PGA Tour stays on the west coast this week for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am 2022. The tournament, which will be back to its original three-course, celebrity / PGA pro format, is set to tee off on Thursday, Feb. 3 in Pebble Beach, Calif .. The first three rounds will be played at Spyglass Hill Golf Club, Pebble Beach Golf Links, and the North Course at Monterey Peninsula Country Club, with the final round returning to Pebble Beach. The tournament purse is $ 8.7 million, and the winner will take home $ 1,566 million. Caesars Sportsbook lists Patrick Cantlay at the 7-1 betting favorite in its latest AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf odds. Jason Day (20-1), Jordan Spieth (20-1), and Justin Rose (28-1) are also among the top contenders in the 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am field. Defending tournament champion Daniel Berger (back) and fast riser Will Zalatoris (COVID-19) had been listed among the top contenders at Pebble Beach, but were forced to withdraw.

As the highest ranked golfer in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am field, Cantlay will very likely be a popular PGA one and done pick this week. Is Cantlay, the reigning FedEx Cup champion, a must-play? Or would it make more sense to go with a steady superstar like Spieth, Day or Rose? Before locking in your AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am one and done picks, you need to see what SportsLine DFS pro and PGA expert Mike McClure has to say.

The One and Done format is growing in popularity. It has several noticeable similarities to NFL Survivor pools, with the main difference being entries are not eliminated with a bad week. Players pick one golfer per week (often with a backup in case of a last minute withdrawal) and earn points based on their selected golfer’s prize money for that tournament. Golfers can only be used once per season, and the point format makes nailing majors and big money tournaments critical.

McClure is a DFS legend with nearly $ 2 million in career winnings, and he’s been red-hot on his golf picks dating back to the PGA Tour restart in June of 2020. McClure uses his proprietary simulation model to analyze the field and crush his golf picks.

Last week at the Farmers Insurance Open, McClure’s top pick was 25-year-old Will Zalatoris. The result: Zalatoris finished in sole possession of second place, taking home $ 915,600. While he came up short against eventual winner Luke List in a one-hole playoff, Zalatoris’ performance at Torrey Pines was huge for one and done players.

Two weeks ago at The American Express, McClure was all over Patrick Cantlay and Sungjae Im, who finished 9th ($ 222,300) and T-11 ($ 184,300), respectively.

Three weeks ago at the Sony Open, McClure’s model listed Hideki Matsuyama among the top contenders. The reigning Masters champion went out and overcame a five-stroke deficit on the back nine of the final round to notch his eighth career PGA Tour victory.

Four weeks ago at the Sentry Tournament of Champions, McClure included Jon Rahm and Daniel Berger among his top PGA picks. When the dust settled, Rahm came in second with a score of 33-under par, while Berger secured a top-five finish with a score of 25-under par. Anybody that included them in their one and done picks is in great shape.

At the 2021 World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba in November, McClure’s model was all over Viktor Hovland (18-1) winning his third PGA Tour title. At the 2021 Open Championship, McClure’s best bets included Collin Morikawa winning outright even though he was listed as a massive 40-1 long shot. In addition, McClure’s model was all over Jon Rahm’s (10-1) first career major championship victory at the 2021 US Open.

McClure’s model is also up nearly $ 10,000 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament. Anyone who has followed it has seen massive returns.

Now, McClure has dialed in on the 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament, and just locked in his one and done picks and PGA predictions. You can only see McClure’s Pebble Beach Pro-Am one and done picks at SportsLine.

2022 AT&T Pebble Beach One and Done expert picks

One of McClure’s favorite Pebble Beach one and done picks is Jason Day. The No. 83 player in the world had a lengthy run as world No. 1 earlier in his career, but health issues slowed him down in recent years. He is once again healthy and enters this tournament coming off an impressive T-3 finish at the Farmers Insurance Open last week. McClure is leaning on his dominant recent form and outstanding track record when setting his one and done picks this week.

Last week at the Farmers, Day made a serious run on the final day, finishing at 14-under par. When healthy, Day is a threat to go low on any given day and win any tournament he enters. The 34-year-old Australian was dialed in off the tee and with his irons at the Farmers. If that carries over in Pebble Beach, he should contend for his 13th career PGA Tour victory.

How to make 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am One and Done picks

McClure is also targeting a player for his AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am one and done picks that is listed at 40-1 in the latest PGA odds. This player has been red-hot, but flies under the radar and has the ability to win any tournament he enters.
