2022 Super Bowl Preview: Bengal vs. Rams odds, prediction, date, time, TV, streaming, key matches

The Bengal upset AFC champion Chiefs in Kansas City, and the Frame cut a losing streak of six games against their division rival 49ers. Now Cincinnati and Los Angeles are ready to play in the biggest game of the biggest season NFL history: Super Bowl LVI. Can Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and the young, rising Bengal steals the spotlight again, this time on the biggest stage in all sports? Or are the glamorous Rams, put together like an all-star team with Matthew Stafford, Cooper Coup and Odell Beckham Jr. in front, destined to become the second straight NFL span to win it all in their own stadium?

Either way, this Super Bowl is going to be a must-see TV. Here’s everything you need to know before the big game:

When’s the Super Bowl?

The Bengals and Rams will square on Sunday 13 Febby 18:30 East.

Where’s the Super Bowl?

Super Bowl LVI will be played at SoFi Stadium, in Inglewood, California. Who is favored to win?

Immediately after the Rams’ NFC championship victory over the 49ers, Los Angeles entered the week as 4-point favorites in Super Bowl LVI over the Bengals.

Key Bengals vs. Rams matches

  • Joe Burrow Vs. Aaron Donald: More like Cincy’s O-line versus Los Angeles’ top seven, but you get the picture. Burrow absorbed a record nine bags in the Bengals’ victory over the Titans earlier this postseason, but he remained upright against the Chiefs on Sunday. However, Donald and the Rams boast one of the dirtiest fronts in the NFL, so it will be imperative that Zac Taylor and the Bengals’ staff get creative, if necessary, to keep their star QB on his feet.
  • Ja’Marr Chase vs. Jalen Ramsey: One of the game’s top play starters against one of the game’s cover men. Chase has made thrilling plays against virtually everyone in his historic rookie campaign, but Ramsey is no stranger to grandiose one-on-ones. If the Rams’ front end comes after Burrow, this match could be particularly crucial as the Bengal QB want to raise it for its go-to game-changer.
  • Sean McVay vs. Zac Taylor: The latter emerged under McVay in Los Angeles, and now he has a chance to raise his fellow young gun on the biggest stage of all. McVay has wasted his time-outs in the NFC Championship and has become conservative over the years in a few odd places, but he may have a chance to put the pedal on the floor if Matthew Stafford can take advantage of Cincy early on ‘s defense.

Bengal vs Rams prediction

Latest opportunities:

Los Angeles Rams -4

Do not hold me to this (unless it turns out to be right), but here is the early assessment: my heart says Bengal, but my head says Rams. Can Los Angeles be trusted? Probably not. Despite all their strength, they have now survived two straight play-off victories with the skin of their teeth, and you could say that of the Bengals as well, except that the Rams were literally built to win it all. They are the win-now team, put together with one big-name veteran after another. Cincy bird as the real call, with all their fun-loving, expectation-splintering youth. But Aaron Donald and the Rams’ defensive front is a different beast, and we saw in Tennessee what can happen when Joe Burrow’s blocking comes under real pressure. If Sean McVay can really put together a game plan, LA should be able to do far more than it did against the 49ers, and that means a big win at home.

Choose: Frame 29, Bengal 26
