Via reports from BJPenn.com, Cris Cyborg wants to fight Megan Anderson on the big stage. Megan is a true 145lber in the featherweight division, built by the UFC.
Cris wants to ensure that the Featherweight division, even after her retirement, continues somewhere in the future.
If Anderson is not available, Cris Pam Sorenson, who is ranked in the Featherweight division, wants to fight. Many would love to see Amanda Nunes fight Cris, and Amanda asked for that fight. However, it is a long time since Amanda fought in the Featherweight division, having only fought in the Bantamweight division for the past few years.
Will Megan Anderson answer the call? It’s hard to say at the moment, but I do think she will come up from InvictaFC and accept the challenge.
