A series of updates surrounding the transfer attempts of those in a position of power at Tottenham Hotspur came to light late Saturday night.
The first comes in the form of a completely positive insight into the Lilywhites’ ongoing negotiations with Serie A heavyweights Juventus.
After miss out about a deal for Porto wide man Luis Diaz at last, the word of course surfaced earlier today that Spurs have focused their attention firmly on Bianconeri talent Dejan Kulusevski.
However, amid talks between the two clubs, the name of another member of Massimiliano Allegri’s team – in the form of Rodrigo Bentancur – has also come to the fore.

And if the latest media reports late on Saturday night are anything to go by, then huge progress towards a double deal seems to have been made over the course of the day.
According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, both Kulusevski and Bentancur are now ‘a step away’ from becoming members of Antonio Conte’s Tottenham revolution.
In the case of the former, a loan with an obligation to buy under certain conditions – including Spurs qualifying for the Champions League – is on the cards, for a total of about 40 million euros.
Bentancur, meanwhile, will take its talents to the English capital on a permanent basis for 20 million euros plus bonuses.

Tanner stays seated
Tonight’s news, however, is not all positive from a Tottenham perspective.
It comes with the North London club also seeing their efforts to get a potential star in the making rejected.
Over the past few days, of course, Spurs have been widely speculating to get Lewes FC wide man Ollie Tanner, with further reports on the situation on Saturday confirming that an agreement has been reached between the two clubs over a deal.
However, the Isthmian League Premier League outfit have since released an official statement on the matter, revealing that Tanner – formerly of Arsenal – will not in fact move back to north London.
It comes with the 19-year-old being dissatisfied with the personal terms offered by Daniel Levy and co:
“Lewes Football Club would like to confirm that while the club and a Premier League club have reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of Ollie Tanner, Ollie and the Premier Club were ultimately unable to agree on personal terms and he remains a Lewes FC player. ”
