The WRLD on GCW was an overwhelming success on FITE.
FITE TV announced it GCW‘s latest pay-per-view presentation The WRLD at GCW was the promotion’s most successful event to date.
Mike Weber, chief operating officer of the service, made the following statement to POST Wrestling:
“GCW show went very well. This is the best show for them, not for FITE. We made 700,000 purchases for the Tyson Jones fight of a year ago. “
The WRLD at GCW featured former AEW world champion Jon Moxley defending the GCW world title against murder. The main event defeated GCW World Tag Team Champions, The Briscoes, by Matt Tremont and returning Nick Gage.
