A clip of a giant crab tying itself to a set of golf clubs was recently shared on Reddit.
The video shows a group of Australian golfers on Christmas Island trying to untie a coconut from a set of golf clubs.
The crab is unwilling to let go and eventually cuts his way through a driver.
Catie McLeod by News.com.au reported that the video is actually a few years old, but has become increasingly popular after sharing the track with a friend recently.
Mr. Buhner says in the cut the group returned from their sixth hole to find the crab there.
“And that’s why we call them a robber crab … And we did not put it here, it climbed up here while we were sticking out,” he says.
“He has a damn good grip on it – look at it.”
Mr Buhner told NCA NewsWire on Monday that he filmed the video in October 2020 and was surprised to find it on social media in January 2022 after his son sent the track to a friend.
