FootJoy has unveiled a revamped Pro | SL range of shoes that includes an all-new midsole design and a cleaner look to the uppers.
StratoFoam midsole technology enhances the shoe’s built-in comfort and offers a softer heel-toe cushioning and deliver greater energy return, while the streamlined new upper pattern offers a more refined overall aesthetic.
The range is headlined by the Pro | SL Carbon, FJ’s most technologically advanced spikeless golf shoe. Accompanying the new StratoFoam midsole technology, an enhanced molded carbon fiber insert reinforces lateral stability in the heel while ensuring uncompromised forefoot flexibility. The Pro | SL Carbon uses the flex of the carbon fiber inlay to elastically snap back to its natural position resulting in more energy return while walking and reducing foot fatigue at the end of the round.
Guy Smith, FJ Footwear’s Product Manager, said: “We look forward to celebrating an icon in the Pro | SL this year, as an unrivaled offering within the performance spikeless space. Leveraging the success of our StratoFoam technology, added to the enhancements in our Carbon technology, has enabled the shoe to operate at a whole new level, and that’s so exciting for us.
On Tour we continue to see the strength of the shoe, and we’ve continued to surprise tour players with our ability to raise the bar again with new iterations since its launch. This year is certainly no different. ”
The Pro | SL Carbon is offered with three color combinations for men (White / Silver BOA (£ 219.99), and White / Black and Black with traditional laces (£ 184.99). It goes on sale from February 15.
