Scottish golf, the golf governing body in Scotland, has established a new partnership with the customer experience management leaders Players 1st, which will strengthen the Scottish Golf digital toolkit available to affiliated clubs across the country.
As the national governing body building on the foundations of their digital transformation across many areas of the business, Players 1st was the obvious choice for Scottish Golf to develop a members experience survey to enable their affiliate clubs to leverage valuable member feedback.
Players 1st has a strong history in partnerships with golf federations and associations, and continues to develop their best-in-class experience recordings tailored for the golf industry.
As part of the agreement, Scottish Golf and Players 1st will collaborate on growing engagement with clubs through the software, providing clubs with insights regarding their membership experience, as well as building a comprehensive national benchmark. The data will also enable Scottish Golf to understand more about the differences and similarities in experience across clubs, facility type or regions, in order to identify best practices and share learning about the region.
Iain Evans, Club Business Manager at Scottish Golf, said: “Because we place such a high value on helping our clubs understand their members and make informed decisions, we are delighted to have a new partnership with Market Leader Players 1st. to continue. As an advantage of affiliation, clubs will be able to use the membership survey for free.
“We will support clubs in setting up, launching and data production, but more importantly we will help them understand what actions to take to improve their performance. While the initial survey will serve as a benchmark for many clubs, they will be able to identify areas to focus on and set more important goals for improvement. ”
Amelia Lewis, UK Regional Manager at Players 1st, said: “We are delighted to establish this new partnership with Scottish Golf and to be part of the National Governing Body’s forward-thinking approach to club support. Our software will strengthen the support offered to the affiliated clubs, and we look forward to discovering experience insights on Scottish golf clubs for the first time. ”
