Harry Kane means Tottenham if they fail to qualify for the Champions League next season.
As previously reported Athletic, Kane is increasingly worried about Tottenham competing for big trophies.
The 27-year-old will not make a final decision on his future after this summer’s European Championships until he becomes captain of England.
Any move that could leave the Spurs would be complicated and would have to be punished by President Daniel Levy.
Kane has been contracted with Tottenham until June 2024 – when he signed director Mauricio Pochettino in 2018 after signing a six-year deal – and the club has always insisted he is not for sale.
Kane joined the Spurs academy and remains committed to the club but, as he approaches the age of 28, he is keen to play on a team capable of winning the biggest competitions in the sport.
