The Hockey Show, Canada’s only campus – made radio program that talks strictly about hockey is back tonight to break down all the great stories of the hockey world that have happened over the past few weeks! With the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing only officially underway tonight, the banner at the top will not change before they officially start, but it should be noted that today we are talking about Olympic hockey, as well as the biggest international tournament that start! There’s a lot of news and chats today, so let’s start it!
Like our two Canadian stoppers on the left, Teebz and Jenna will discuss the strategies of a few people and teams today. Among those who will be named are Evander Kane and the Edmonton Oilers, the Arizona Coyotes and Arizona State University, Eric Staal, Maxim Noreau, David Desharnais, Canada, the USA, the Guelph Gryphons men’s hockey team, the Manitoba Bisons, Rocky Wirtz and the Chicago Blackhawks, Beijing and the Olympics. How does it all fit together, you ask? They’re all in the news this past week, so our two hosts will try to dig through the facts and make sense of it! Where’s the best place to hear tonight’s program if you’ve outside of Winnipeg or not near a radio, you ask? The new UMFM website‘s online streaming player is quite amazing if you want to listen online. If you’re using an Apple device, it looks like the player does not like Safari yet, so if you want to stream the app, I’ll recommend Radio Garden to do so because it works well with Safari. If you are more of an app person, we recommend you use the TuneIn application found in the App Store or Google Play Store. If you do the TuneIn app, you will not be disappointed. This is a solid application.
