How Chelsea could line up against Krasnodar with mass changes

Chelsea welcome Russian side Krasnodar to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday for the final Group E Champions League game, with the Blues secure in top spot even if they fall to a shock defeat (due to a superior head-to-head record over Sevilla).

With qualification secured we look at how Chelsea could line up against Krasnodar, with expectations that Frank Lampard will make a raft of changes to give valuable minutes to fringe players and keep things fresh for the Premier League.

Two players definitely out of the final group stage clash this season will be Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi, besides the two attacking wingers Frank Lampard has everyone raring to go for the visit of the Russians.

With Olivier Giroud scoring five in two games, the Frenchman could very well be the current first choice striker, and as such CFCnet expect him to drop to the bench on Tuesday and give way to Tammy Abraham.

The defense and goalkeeper are set for full changes to the predicted Chelsea line up vs Krasnodar, with Kepa making a rare return between the sticks and appearance from Azpilicueta, Christensen, Rudiger and Emerson.

Young Scottish star Billy Gilmour is expected to start and be given the license to impress and give the manager food for thought as the fixtures become ever more condensed in the next few weeks.

Predicted Chelsea Line Up vs Krasnodar

Goalkeeper: Kepa Arrizabalaga
Defense: Cesar Azpilicueta, Andreas Christensen, Antonio Rudiger, Emerson
Midfield: Mateo Kovacic, Jorginho, Billy Gilmour
Attack: Tammy Abraham, Christian Pulisic, Kai Havertz
