NASCAR’s Busch Light Clash at the Colosseum has just added a bit of star power that is “Straight Outta Compton”.
O’Shea Jackson Sr., better known as Ice cube, will head the rest-time show at the Clash. Ice Cube is one of the most successful and groundbreaking figures in the American rap scene.
NASCAR announced today that Ice Cube during the bus break of the Busch Light Clash at the Colosseum on Sunday 6 Feb. His performance, which will be shown live FOX, enhances an already star-studded series of races and entertainment sets for the sport’s season opening exhibit inside the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
“Ice Cube is more than a rapper, actor and entertainer,” he said. Ben Kennedy, NASCAR senior vice president for strategy and innovation. “He is an icon who has risen to the top in all his efforts. We are honored to have him perform at this first of its kind event in the heart of Los Angeles. ”
