Jim Ross wants someone new to win Men’s Royal Rumble

The road to WrestleMania will officially launch this Saturday night (Jan. 29). The 2022 Royal Rumble event (see betting opportunity here) will be inside The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis. Louis, Missouri.

In addition to the two Royal Rumble matches, the event will also include three world title matches. WWE Universal Champion Roman rule will put his gold at stake against Seth Rollins. Brock LesnarWWE title will be at stake Bobby Lashley.

The third world title match will see Becky Lynch put the Raw Women’s Championship against Doudrop at stake.

A fresh face?

During an episode of him Grilling JR podcastJim Ross shared his belief that a new star could be born by winning the men’s Royal Rumble contest.

“One of those new young guys, I’m not sure. I would say it’s a great opportunity to make someone, so to speak. If they use that philosophy, I think one of their young studs is going to triumph just to get a fresh start, new winner, everything.

“We can go through all the best guys who are in it, there are tons of them who can theoretically and realistically win the damn thing. But I think if I was WWE and I was Vince, it’s an opportunity I would take to create some talent. “
