Which teams are displayed by the league?

It is interesting to note that the NBA has shortened the games to 72 in the 2020-2021 season to bring the league back to the regular season calendar, but this year the 30 teams will play the usual 82 games.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics are currently the most popular and successful teams in NBA history, with both teams boasting the rights to claim 17 NBA winning titles each. The Los Angeles Lakers made history with an impressive record of being the only team to score 30 NBA Finals, 17 Team Winners, and 15 NBA Finals. With such statistics, one can only eagerly anticipate every game of the coming season.

Season Structure

The NBA is the most enjoyable and anticipated competition in basketball, with fans eagerly awaiting the release of each new season’s dates and schedules. In what is the 75th year of the league, the NBA will commemorate this important year throughout the current season, and will release interesting historical lists to its waiting fans.

A media panel put together a 75th birthday team, which consisted of 75 of the best league players in history, current and former players, coaches, general managers and team managers. Keep these historic pieces of NBA history on hand as you watch your best basketball games this season. Let us now take a brief look at the structure that the 2021-2022 season will adopt.

The season kicked off on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 and will continue until Sunday, April 10, 2022. Once the regular season ends on April 10, the Record Tournament will take place between April 12-15, 2022, and the Playoffs will begin on April 16, 2022. . The season will then be brought to an end with the final taking place between 2 and 19 June 2022.

NBA Christmas Day Games

What is Christmas Day without an NBA game for fans to watch? There is nothing as enjoyable as sitting down to watch your favorite team have a delicious Christmas dinner and family time. As usual, fans will be treated to five amazing NBA games this year; Hawks at Knicks, Celtics at Bucks, Warriors at Suns, Nets at Lakers and Mavericks at Utah Jazz. Make sure you take out the turkey early to avoid missing out on your favorite team game.

The Summer League schedule

With the 75th anniversary celebrations extremely important for this season’s planning, the summer league will feature the NBA 75 Classic Matchups. It will be played to celebrate the legendary people who have made NBA basketball history over the past 75 years.

On November 1, 2021, the New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors will play the first of the classic games. This date is significant because it marks the anniversary date of the very first regular season NBA game.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Atlanta Hawks will play the final classic game on January 7th. On that date 50 years ago, the Lakers beat the Hawks in what was their 33rd consecutive victory, making it the longest winning streak in NBA history.

December celebrations

On top of the excitement of the Christmas Day games, December will see more Classic Matchups, with a celebration of the three franchises that have played in every single NBA season. The Boston Celtics, the New York Knicks and the Golden State Warriors (formerly known as the Philadelphia Warriors) hold these bragging rights and will definitely give it their all while braving the hardwood. Put these five dates in your calendar:

Monday, November 1 – Toronto Huskies vs. New York Knicks
Tuesday, December 14 – Golden State Warriors vs. New York Knicks
Friday, December 17 – Golden State Warriors vs. Boston Celtics
Saturday, December 18 – New York Knicks vs. Boston Celtics
Friday, January 7 – Atlanta Hawks vs. Los Angeles Lakers

Who will take the league?

Every fan believes that their team is the best and has a chance to win the league – after all, that’s how loyalty works. However, there are certain teams that are expected to be potential winners and are the teams to look forward to this season.

Currently, it is the Brooklyn Nets who are apparently the favorites to claim the coveted Larry O’Brien trophy, and although the Lakers have had a shaky start to this 2021-2022 season, their popularity in the winning stakes is increasing. The last of the three considered the most likely to win is the Bucks. Of course, this is all mere speculation, and one never knows when a team may reach the point and we will all be surprised with an excellent match delivery on the day. Personally, I tend to take root the underdog, which is unlikely to win me any popularity points among NBA fans!

No matter the team or the player, the tough competition has already started, and all bets are on who is going to walk away as the winner. Do not let players miss the hardwood to make impressive passes and go for every shot in every game. This year’s NBA 2021-2022 season promises its loyal fans more excitement, excitement and entertainment in what is the NBA’s 75th anniversary.
