For the first time in his career at Joe Gibbs Racing, Kyle Busch will have to work with a different primary sponsor than M & Ms.
Since the two-time Cup champion has worked with them since joining JGR in 2008, it will be a big change and an important one in Busch’s career.
“It’s very unfortunate for us and for M & Ms too, I feel,” Kyle Busch told FOX Sports. “We just have to get on with whatever happens next.”
Busch is a person with a lot of character on and off the field. And one thing about him is that he sometimes lets his emotion get the better of him and gets his team in trouble. One such incident was that he drove through a cone after an accident and was fined $ 50,000.
So, the next sponsor will consider that part of Busch before signing with the team. And Busch hopes the new sponsor will let him be just like M & Ms.
“M & Ms was a good sponsor,” Busch said. “Of course they allow me to be a little more I, maybe gave me a little more indulgence than some others.”
“In a new sponsorship search, you will look for someone who is in much the same way. But anything is possible, and we’ll just have to see who that next company is. ”
It’s not the contract with M & Ms that is also expected to expire on Busch’s contract at the end of the 2022 season. JGR has clearly indicated that they want to keep Busch further. But Busch said it was too early to enter into negotiations.
