CBS has announced details regarding their intense celebrity adventure challenge program, which kicks off next month and features Ranallo as host.
Below is the official press release released Wednesday for the program called “Beyond The Edge,” which will include NFL legends Ray Lewis, Mike Singletary, Full of House sitcom star Jodie Sweeten and others.

CBS today announced the new reality series BEYOND THE EDGE, featuring nine celebrities swapping their luxury worlds to live in the dangerous jungles of Panama, where they face epic adventures and endure the most brutal conditions as they push themselves to reach far. to go beyond their comfort zone. The nine celebrities who will face the Panama Jungle in BEYOND THE EDGE are country superstar Lauren Alaina, Super Bowl MVP Ray Lewis, country superstar Craig Morgan, NBA champion Metta World Peace, supermodel Paulina Porizkova, NFL legend Mike Singletary , actress Jodie Sweetin (“Full House,” “Fuller House”) and television personalities Colton Underwood (“The Bachelor”) and Eboni K. Williams (“The Real Housewives of New York City”).
For two weeks, the celebrities will watch to see if they are eager to withstand torrential rain, scorching heat and deadly wildlife while living in the exotic Panama jungle. There will be no judges or eliminations – instead, every famous person should rely on their inner strength, physical ability and courage, and trust their teammates to persevere in nature. For every day they hold, and every grueling adventure challenge they win with their team, the celebrities will raise more money for their charities. When a player reaches their breaking point, they may ring a bell to indicate that they are ready to go home. At the end of the 14 days, the top two earners will go head to head in one last adventure, to see who can become the BEYOND THE EDGE champion and take home the most money for their charity.
“BEYOND THE EDGE is the most extreme format of celebrities ever tried,” said executive producer Greg Goldman. “The day before we started with main photography, all the producers looked at each other with the sinking feeling that this well-known cast might see where they live for up to two weeks – the hard jungle of Panama – and just bite.
