NFL Draft 40-Time Follower: Who has the fastest 40-yard line in the 2021 draft class?

Every year NFL Draft, is fascinated by the 40-meter line of various solutions. Although the metrics have little to do with the success of players at the professional level, football fans love speed and fast players. That’s 40 times a big conversation every year during the NFL Combine season.

However, in the 2021 NFL season, there are no combiners. The league has decided not to host it this year due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic. The event is likely to return next year, but with the event canceled, the 40-yard dash has not been on the previous stage.

Still, the prospects are being drilled into their professional days and while the focus on these events is not as bright as they are, there will certainly be an element of pride in the 2021 NFL Draft for the fastest players. Needless to say, these top competitors want to outdo each other to get more attention before the draft.

Seeing a fast 40-yard line doesn’t guarantee you will have a successful NFL career. Just ask John Ross 4.19 second 40-yard line and Cincinnati was No. 9 in the Bengals. In four seasons in the NFL, Ross has played in 27 games and has just 51 catches for 733 yards. It has 10 touches, but it has not been the deep and dynamic threat the Hill-type tire has expected of Bengals.

But hey, Ross has an NFL Combine record for the 40-yard line, so he’ll always have that. This season, players like Anthony Schwartz, Rondale Moore and Jaycee Horn will try to break that record in their professional days. But will they succeed?

Below is a follower of the fastest players: quarterbacks, wide receivers, tight ends, backs, offensive linemen, defensive linemen, linebackers and defensive backs throughout the 40s during the 2021 NFL season.
