Is there a draft here?

This is 2021. Of course there is. In fact, the draft is everywhere.

Everyone now has a draft NFL mockup. Just ask your next Uber driver or Target ATM if they have a draft. Absolutely yes, and don’t be surprised when they tell you when you’re putting toilet paper and oat milk in your bag.

Highlights:

– Iyer went to the “Bama DT Christian Barmore” Raiders at No. 17. Barmore seems like an amazing choice, as some have entered the end of the first and second.

– Virginia Tech’s Caleb Farley, not Patrick Surtain II of Alabama, is the first corner at No. 10 for the Cowboys.

– Gregory Rousseau, no Teammate Jaeles Phillips Canes is the first EDGE player on the board to go to Arizona on the 16th.

Draft model of Mel Kiper (ESPN)

Mel Kiper’s latest draft was released on March 23, long before the 49ers and Eagles professions that raised the top of the draft.

30 Buffalo Bills Najee Harris RB Alabama
31 Kansas City Chiefs Liam Eichenberg OT Andre Maria
32 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Christian Barmore DT Alabama

Highlights:

– Kiper took the QB Jets before Sam Darnold trade. It seems that Zach Wilson is the 2nd consensus now. When you pepper, you have America.

– The Lions could go in any direction, but Kiper has chosen Detroit’s wide receiver DeVonta Smith with No. 7, and quarterback Jared Goff has earned No. 1 next season. Detroit let expanders Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones walk into the free agency.

– Liam Eichenberg is a bit of a surprise (for leaders No. 31), but Kansas City certainly needs offensive support.

Todd McShay’s Draft (ESPN)

McShay-k the last draft was released on April 1, but it updated on what Sam Darnold could mean for the trade and the rest of the NFL drafts.

Highlights:

– John Elway and Denver finally have a long-term solution in the QB position as McShay moves to Trey Lance Broncos at No. 9. Elway has been looking for an excellent QB following Peyton Manning for years.

– Najee Harris – recently told McShay “kiss ass” – Ends with Steelerd at No. 24, easing pressure against the Steelers offenses suffered on the ground last year.

– Everyone’s worst nightmare has been confirmed: Bill Belichick is handed over to a future franchise quarterback, the Patriots negotiate until 11 with Justin Fields to fall.

32 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Elijah Moore WR Mississippi

Highlights:

– Who’s Jared? Jeremiah chooses the Lions to cross the Ohio State Pass in 7th place overall. Detroit, of course, has traded Jared Goff (and more) to Matthew Stafford this season. Motor City’s Goff Era can be completed even before it starts.

– After letting the Corey Linsley All-Pro center run in a free agency, the Packers strengthen their offensive number 29 with Landon Dickerson. For another year

– Five is a magic number, just like in the first five QBs. Jeremiah goes one step further: five quarters will be selected in the top 10, the first time in NFL Draft history.
