Oscar Frayer of Grand Canyon died in a car accident three days after playing in the NCAA Championship
Grand Canyon University men’s basketball player Oscar Frayer was one of three people killed in a vehicle accident in California on Tuesday, the university reported. He was 23 years old.
Frayer, Andrea Moore, her older sister and a friend were killed in an accident near Lodi, California GCU statement.
Frayer ended his college career three days earlier when he lost 25 minutes in the first round of the Antelope NCAA Championship in Iowa. The senior from Oakland, California was due to take part in introductory exercises the following month after graduating in communications.
“It was the beating of our team with their energetic and energetic personality. I can’t put into words the pain and sadness we all feel, but we know it’s in heaven and that gives us great joy to know that we will be together again.” GCU coach Bryce Drew said in a statement.
