The women’s section of All Elite Wrestling got an unfortunate blow when Riho is on the sidelines with an injury.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion last wrestled in the Battle of the Belts special as she defeated the current champion, Dr. Britt Baker took on DMD in the main event of the show. It is currently unclear whether she was injured in that match.
Riho confirmed the injury on social media this morning and tweeted that she had recently suffered a broken collarbone injury, which has already been treated. She also said that she is back in Japan to heal:
“I am in Japan now! I broke my collarbone and treated it. (It does not hurt so much anymore) Rest, heal completely, and do your best again! !! !! ” Riho tweeted.
