Lightweight star Ryan Garcia wants to get back into action after a turbulent 2021 and jumps on social media to tell the world that despite his interest and willingness to fight Isaac Cruz – who comes up with a loss against Gervonta Davis – Cruz just would not accept the fight even if he is offered more money than he earned against Tank.
“(Isaac) Cruz did not want to fight with me, guys. This is God’s honest truth. I would have fought him in a heartbeat, no problem. But these are all good, bigger and better things, bigger and better things.
“We offered Cruz more money (than Gervonta Davis). You can try to do everything you can guy, but at some point they do not want to fight. Can’t force anyone to fight at the end of the day. “
Garcia, 23, has been out of the ring for more than a year and has lost any momentum he has had (at least in the boxing world) after his win over Luke Campbell. Garcia says he wants to continue just where he left off, but we’ll have to see what he and his team have really put together for him.
