WWE Superstar Sami Zayn called Johnny Knoxville’s bluff and flew to LA to gatecrash the Jackass Forever premiere … it did not end well.
Sami Zayn traveled to Los Angeles on his own dime and gatecrashed the world premiere of the new Jackass movie … and then he got kicked out.
Zayn has been feuding with Jackass star Johnny Knoxville ever since the latter declared for the 2022 men’s Royal Rumble match on January 1. On that week’s edition of SmackDown on FOX, Knoxville symbolically tossed Zayn over the top rope and was officially announced as one of the 30 men’s Royal Rumble competitors. Knoxville and Zayn’s beef continued to unfold during the men’s Rumble when Zayn eliminated Knoxville with a big Helluva Kick.
After the Rumble, WWE broadcaster Megan Morant interviewed Knoxville backstage. Knoxville said he was not done with Zayn. Zayn then approached Morant and chastised her for interviewing Knoxville first. Zayn added that he was not done with Knoxville.
On Tuesday, February 1, Zayn took to Twitter to announce that he was on his way to LA to ostensibly gatecrash the invite-only world premiere of Knoxville’s latest flick, Jackass Forever – the fourth installment in the Jackass movie series.
Zayn did indeed show up to the premiere, during which he walked the red carpet and spoke to journalists … but he was soon noticed by Knoxville and some of his costars. Zayn was kicked out of the event by security but took to Instagram live soon after to provide commentary on his attempts to sneak back in.
It would appear that the Zayn / Knoxville rivalry is far from over, and even a jackass could figure out where this is going. WrestleMania is just 59 days away, which should give Johnny Knoxville plenty of time to prepare for a match. Although let’s be real, if his opponent is Sami Zayn, he will not need to prepare too much.
