Tottenham remain in talks with Juventus over a double deal for Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski, according to Sky Sports.
News of Spurs’ interest in Kulusevski first broke on Friday when The Athletic reported the Londoners are discussing a loan move, with an obligation to buy, for the 21-year-old Swedish winger.
And it turns out Tottenham are also talking to Juventus about Bentancur.
Sky Sports claims the clubs are in talks over a loan move, though Juventus – who have already rejected an offer for Bentancur from Aston Villa – want to sell the midfielder permanently.
Whether Spurs are willing to splash out on the 24-year-old Uruguay international remains to be seen, but there will be a real sense of frustration if Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici fail to bring in at least one of Bentancur or Kulusevski.
Sky’s report says Kulusevski has been identified as an alternative to previous targets Adama Traore and Luis Diaz, who are set to join Barcelona and Liverpool respectively.
It looks set to be a busy couple of days at Hotspur Way – but will there be a happy ending to the transfer window?
