You can bring your own or rent kayaks, canoes, SUPs or jet skis in most marinas or even do a tour.
Since we live in Vegas, Emerald Cove has been on our bucket list, and we finally had to go together Evolution Expeditions. We loved our guide, who made sure the group stayed together, gave us insight into the landscape and history of the area, and she even helped us take tons of photos and videos.
The cave itself gets busy! Even when we went into the off-season, we had to wait to get in. During the summers, waiting can be more than an hour.
If you own a kayak, canoe or SUP, there are many launch points to go on your own. We have to inflate SUP next summer to Willow Beach. Another excellent launch point from Lake Mead is canoe / kayak beach in Hemenway Harbor.
