Premier League kit Tottenham Hotspur have tabled a solid offer for Porto wing Luis Diaz, according to reports late Thursday.
The information comes courtesy of Portuguese transfer journalist Goncalo Lopes, who is highly regarded across the country.
Lopes claims that those in a position of power in the Lilywhite half of North London came forward with a proposal worth a whopping 60 million euros, to lure Diaz away from the Estadio do Dragao before next week’s winter transfer deadline .
The ball is now firmly in Porto’s court as everyone associated with Spurs is patiently awaiting an update on what could be a season-changing addition to Antonio Conte’s ranks.

For those unaware, runner-up Diaz, who generally operates on the left, has enjoyed a dazzling campaign to date, with 14 goals and 4 assists over 18 appearances in the League NOS.
Traore Barca bound
News of Tottenham’s Diaz swoop naturally comes fresh on the backs of the capital giants who miss the services of January’s main target, Adama Traore.
Earlier today, Daniel Levy and co. saw their hopes of landing Traore dealt a fatal blow as the Wolverhampton Wanderers star was inches in the direction of a return to the Camp Nou with Barcelona.
The Spanish player is expected in Catalonia on Friday, before undergoing his Blaugrana medicine and putting pen to paper on terms for the rest of the campaign.
