Beal averages 23.2 points, a career high of 6.6 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game on 45.1 percent shooting from the field and a career-worse 30.0 percent shooting from outside the arc.
Beal’s figures are lower across the board after averaging his career-best numbers as a scorer after the point load became more balanced following a revamp of the Wizards move’s roster Russell Westbrook after the Lakers for Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrellen Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and acquired Spencer Dinwiddie in a five-team trade also.
Real Deal Beal is also involved in free agency drama around or he will not resign with the Wizards this summer. The 28-year-old superstar will apparently be to withdraw the last year of its extension and can enter free agency as an unlimited free agent in the ’22 off-season.
It remains to be seen what Beal will do about his future in the country’s capital. Until then, the Wizards play Wednesday against defending champion Milwaukee Bucks (31-21) without their three-time All-Star team-mate.
